News Anchor Sandrah Twinoburyo quits NTV Uganda after 4 years

Sandrah Twinoburyo who has been at the helm of the NTV Weekend Edition revealed that effective “April 1st”, she ends her journey as a News Anchor after four years since her first day at the Nation Media Group Television.

Seasoned Journalist, News Anchor and TV Presenter Sandrah Kahumuza Twinoburyo has reportedly resigned from her position at NTV Uganda, DailyExpress understands.

In a tweet through her official Twitter Account, Sandrah Twinoburyo who has been at the helm of the NTV Weekend Edition revealed that effective “April 1st”, she ends her journey as a News Anchor after four years at the Nation Media Group Television.

“It’s been almost 4 years as your @ntvuganda#weekendedition news anchor, while this changes today, I want you to know that I appreciate all the love and the criticism that pushed me to grow,” a Friday tweet from Twinoburyo’s account partly read.

According to NTV Uganda socials, Sandra Twinoburyo has already been replaced by Mildred Pedun, who takes over the NTV Weekend Edition, effective Friday evening (today).

However, one Twinoburyo’s workmate told DailyExpress that this could be a Fools Day prank, although the seasoned anchor in a separate tweet refuted that although today is April Fools Day, it is not a prank as many claimed.
