Frank Walusimbi announced on Thursday he has left NTV Uganda

Seasoned Journalist and TV News Anchor Frank Walusimbi on Thursday, April 28, resigned from NTV Uganda bringing to an end a 15-year anchoring role at the Serena-based station.

The NTV Akawungeezi star revealed that he decided to leave the station to try a new challenge elsewhere.

Walusimbi, who joined NTV Uganda as a news anchor in 2006, made his debut on the station’s most popular NTV Akawungeezi on December, 25, the same year, and since then, he became a darling for many of his fans and viewers due to his unique-calm style and flair he adds to the anchoring.

Although the former Tuula Tuwaye and Ebigambo Tebitta host did not reveal his next destination, he is rumored to be in final plans to join Bulange-based BBS Terefayina as a news anchor, while some sources claim he is yet another big fish to cross to Next Media’s big empire;

NTV Uganda in a farewell tweet shortly after his last NTV Akawungeezi bulletin said; “Frank Walusimbi anchored his final #NTVAkawungeezi bulletin right now. He has served the station for over 15 years and we consider that his work with us, together with exhibits like #Tuwaye and #EbigamboTebitta have positively impacted many.”

Finally, this man we’re talking about is not among those battling cold nights, he is warmed by his lovely bonkmate and baby mama Flavia Walusimbi.
