Musenero’s Sh8m Covid Rats finally arrive at Entebbe Airport

The rats were last year recommended by Musenero as part of the requirements in the development of the drug that would cure coronavirus.

KAMPALA, UGANDA: The genetically modified Shs 8 million mice meant procured by Minister Dr. Monica Musenero for the development of Uganda’s Covid-19 vaccine have finally arrived in the country despite the covid-19 pandemic vanishing in the country.

According to inside sources at the Ministry of Science & Technology, the high-tech mice arrived at Entebbe International Airport this week on Monday.

The sources also revealed that the mice according were a remaining factor in the quest to develop a better vaccine for the cure of the Covid 19 and thus their arrival will now help in such research.

The mice were last year recommended by Musenero as part of the requirements in the development of the drug that would cure coronavirus.

According to Musenero, the covid-19 vaccine was being developed by her Ministry together with a Ugandan professor, and therefore; required to procure about 200 high tech mice that would help in the development of the Covid Vaccine.

The then Presidential advisor on Covid 19, Musenero told the media that such mice were important in the development of the much-needed vaccine to save the world from the dangerous Covid 19 virus.

The rats come at a time when the Covid 19 cases within the country have continued to reduce and, the government of Uganda relaxed on the several Covid 19 rules that deterred the country from occupation.
