Now in a new declaration via his socials, Muhoozi who is the Commander of the UPDF Land Forces revealed that he is unstoppable, and his Team MK will ensure that he wins power to be the next President of Uganda come what may.

In a tweet on May 1st via his official tweet @mkainerugaba, Muhoozi described his father President Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni of Uganda and his ‘uncle’ Paul Kagame of Rwanda as the best strategists alive, adding that once his team assumes power, priority will be given to the Sports sector first to develop the talent of youths across the country.

“I consider President @KagutaMuseveni, and President @PaulKagame the best strategists that ever lived! When Team MK wins power in this country, which we will! Our first act will be to increase the Sports budget!

The 48-year-old General further added that he and his team were ‘unstoppable’ and that their in the souls of Ugandans.
“Thank you very much Rukungiri! Team MK is sweeping across the country. It is unstoppable and it is deeply rooted in the Ugandan soul,” said Museveni’s son.

Muhoozi’s openly declaration for leadership of the country has led to speculations from many political commentators describing this as a reign and beginning of the Tibuhaburwa dynasty.
The first son recently said he was never interested in power but Gen David Sejusa and ‘other haters’ made Ugandans love him through ‘Muhoozi Project’ talk.

Asked to comment on the latest tweets about taking power, the UPDF spokesperson, Brig-Gen Felix Kulayije, said: “I don’t see any problem with that statement, he is just expressing his opinion and I don’t want to interpret it.”

In May 2013, Gen David Sejusa, then coordinator of intelligence agencies, alleged in a letter that was leaked to the public, that there was a “Muhoozi Project” to have the son succeed the father, and that officials opposed to it had been marked for elimination.

Sejusa who was part of the 1980 guerilla war that brought Museveni into power in 1986 has since advised Gen. Muhoozi on how to deal with enemies within as he bids to become the next president.

Another former army commander Maj Gen (Rtd) Mugisha Muntu recently asked Museveni to allow his son to retire from the army so that he can pursue his presidential ambitions.

Mr Patrick Oboi Amuriat, the opposition Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) party president: “This Muhoozi Project is being used as a smoke screen meant to manipulate Ugandans to bring back Museveni who has been in power forever.
They want to blackmail Ugandans to say that we had better have Museveni than have his son.”

Mr Norbert Mao, president of Democratic Party (DP): “I want to see more tweets for me to be able to comment because I know there are more coming. Perhaps the general has a lot of power already but he is just seeking office.”
