DOKOLO, UGANDA: Residents of Ageni B village, Ageni parish in Okwongodul Sub County, Dokolo district were left shocked in dismay after a 38-year-old man committed suicide after sleeping with his neighbour’s wife.
It is alleged that the deceased identified as Patrick Ocen was caught in the act with Rafaela Adongo, 22, who is married to one Geoffrey Ogwang of the same village.
According to village authorities, both Ocen and Rafaela Adongo were arraigned before the LC 1 chairperson after they were caught as they waited to have the matter resolved in the morning. Unfortunately, Ocen was discovered the next day (yesterday) when he had committed suicide by hanging.
The Police from Dokolo police station immediately rushed to the scene and took the body for postmortem at Dokolo health center IV.
At the time of writing, Adongo, the LC chairman Eropa and Geoffrey Ogwang were detained to help in the investigations
