NTUNGAMO, UGANDA: There was grief at Kagamba Secondary School in Ntungamo District after a female teacher in her twenties committed suicide over yet to be known reasons.
Nahwera Justine was on Wednesday (June 8) found hanging on a tree at her village home in Ndoragi, Ibanda district.
Kagamba SSS Headteacher Natukunda Leonidas confirmed the incident describing Nahwera as a strong-hearted teacher who had no issues with any of the school staff members or students.
When contacted over the incident, ASP Simon Kasasira, the Rwizi Regional Police Spokesman Samson Kasasira said the police in Ibanda was yet to furnish details of the suicide case and therefore couldn’t commit further.
The body of the deceased was on today (Thursday) laid to rest as police continues with investigations.
