Ntoroko gets new CAO

According to a letter by the minister for local governments Rafael Magyezi, he received communication from the Ntoroko county Gerald Rwemulikya

NTOROKO, UGANDA: The ministry of local government has assigned Charles Otai as New Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) to Ntoroko district.

According to a letter by the minister for local governments Rafael Magyezi, he received communication from the Ntoroko county member of parliament Gerald Rwemulikya requesting for the deployment of an acting CAO, saying the district was in a difficult position towards the closure the financial year, following the arraignment of Anselim Kyaligonza the Ntoroko CAO before courts of law on charges of abuse of office and forgery.

It was against this background that minister Magyezi has deployed Otai Charles as the new chief administrative officer.

“The purpose of this communication is to inform you that Otai Charles has been deployed to the district as chief administrative officer to handle matters of the district, please give him the necessary support him,” the letter reads in part.

Gerald Rwemulikya says the district is currently stuck with various contractors without money to embark on works in the district, whereas all employees are stranded without payment hence the need to assign a new C.A.O immediately to restore operationalization of the district.
