Ugandan musician Moses Ssali alias Bebe Cool last night survived being killed after a yet-to-be-identified gunman tried to shoot him after knocking his car.
The “wire-wire” hitmaker said, fortunately, they managed to disarm the plain clothes man and he was later arrested by police.
“This man wanted to shoot me after knocking my car, as a lot is still unveiling, but we managed to disarm him and he was arrested by a police officer and taken to Ntinda police station. I was immediately asked by the police officer to go make a statement at the station,” Bebe Cool said in a Sunday morning post.
In a video now making rounds on social media, Bebe Cool who appeared frightened and shocked by the events as they unfolded said he was rescued by passersby who gathered to the ugly incident.
However, Bebe says on arrival at the station, the suspect’s colleagues had already arrived before him, thereby rounding off the station and had put the police officers at gunpoint.
“They commanded me to vacate the premises and nearly shot at me. I had to run to my car and the driver took off.I have been told that the culprit was taken away from the police station by his mates,” the further singer further said before posting a 27-second video unveiling the face of the suspect.
The Love you everyday singer promises to reveal those behind this kind of impunity of the highest order after the culprit gets taken away from the police station by his mates.
” I have made calls to the responsible persons who are the bosses of this guy and they are in the know. Watch the space as a lot more is to be unveiled here,” he concluded.
It should be recalled that this isn’t the first instance where Bebe Cool gets involved in gun-related incidents. Back in 2010, he was shot in the legs and was rushed to Nsambya Hospital, however, after receiving treatment he got his life back.
