Top Kampala Newspaper in panic over suspected sodomy act captured on CCTV Camera

The journalist whose identity remains undisclosed as it would jeopardize the reputation of the firm is said to be a top entertainment/society writer who according to one of the employees is a respected senior in the entertainment industry.

KAMPALA, UGANDA: Senior managers at a top newspaper daily in Kampala are gripped in panic and utter shock following a leaked footage showing an act of sodomy at their workplace.

The story which first appeared on ChimpReports indicates that a senior newspaper journalist at the unnamed daily newspaper was captured by CCTV cameras trying to sodomise an internee at the workplace leaving the management in utter shock.

The incident according to footage occurred in one of the washrooms of the newspaper’s headquarters in Kampala.

The journalist whose identity remains undisclosed as it would jeopardize the reputation of the firm is said to be a top entertainment/society writer who according to one of the employees is a respected senior in the entertainment industry.

“Saying we are utterly shocked is an understatement, we can’t believe that we have been reduced to this,” a reporter who preferred anonymity at the daily said of the incident.

Management is still debating the way forward in regard to the sensitive matter with top officials at the publication remaining tightlipped on the crisis as it would injure their reputation as a firm.

According to section 145 of the Penal Code Act cap 120, acts pf homosexuality are a crime in Uganda and punishable in the courts of law.
