Kisoro Tourist Hotel Manager mysteriously found dead

Josephine Muhoza, a daughter of the deceased said they waited for him to open his room and go to Kisoro town to buy food to cook for customers at the hotel in vain.

Kisoro Tourist Hotel is one of the oldest and most popular town hotels owned by the Consular General of Vietnam in Uganda, Caesar Augustine Mulenga.

KISORO, UGANDA: Residents of Kisoro district have been left in shock after the manager of Kisoro Tourist Hotel, Mr. John Musenga was found dead inside one of the toilets at the facility on Wednesday morning.

Musenga, 62, a resident of Rushambya village, Kirigime ward, Southern Division, in Kisoro municipality was found seated lifeless on a toilet seat surrounded by a pool of blood.

Josephine Muhoza, a daughter of the deceased said they waited for him to open his room and go to Kisoro town to buy food to cook for customers at the hotel in vain.

Muhoza says that they started searching for him after realizing that he is not in his room, but were shocked to find him lying dead in a pool of blood in the toilet. Muhoza says that her father has not been sick.

Ramadan Ndikuyeze, the Central Division LCIII chairperson says that the death is a shock to locals and leaders. Ndikuyeze says that they will wait for the postmortem report.

Police detectives from Kisoro police station arrived at the scene with a police sniffer dog to carry out investigations. The body was later taken to Kisoro hospital mortuary for postmortem.

Kisoro Tourist Hotel is a hotel facility that belongs to King Caesar Mulenga of the Mulenga Kingdom who is also a Vietnam Consular in Uganda. It is one of the oldest and most popular town hotels in Kisoro town.
