COVID-19: Pakistan reports 90 coronavirus cases, one death in 24 hours

A total of over 1.5 million Covid-19 cases have so far been reported in Pakistan, while 30,603 people had died since the beginning of pandemic.

ISLAMABAD, PAKISTAN: The Pakistan National Institute of Health (NIH) on Sunday reported one death and 90 new Covid-19 infections during the last 24 hours.

According to statistics issued by the National Institute of Health (NIH), a total of 14,663 Covid-19 diagnostic tests were conducted during the last 24 hours, out of which 90 came back positive, indicating the positivity ratio of 0.61%.

The institute registered one casualty during the period.

The NIH stated that 89 coronavirus patients were being treated in the Intensive Care Units (ICU) across the country at different medical facilities.

Meanwhile 89 patients are in critical condition.
