NTV Uganda has yet again said a sad goodbye to Mr Herbert Zziwa one of its senior journalists who has left the station after landing a juicy Public Relations job.
Zziwa who has been at the Serena-based station since 2015 announced on Tuesday that he is leaving after being appointed the new communications manager at Uganda National Building Review Board (NBRB).
“Today I sign out of the Newsroom after 7 years. Thank you NTV Uganda Daily Monitor 933 Kfm and the viewers,” said Zziwa in a social media message to his followers.
“I now take on my new role as Manager Communications, National Building Review Board (NBRB),” he added.
NTV Uganda where Zziwa has been in conjunction with 93.3 KFM a sister station also under Nation Media Group (NMG) praised him for his self-drive, hard work and for reliability.
“Goodbye is indeed a sad word just like some musicians put it. Herbert Zziwa, you have been hard-working, reliable and self-driven when duty called,” said the television station on Tuesday, October 11.
“We appreciate your efforts and wish you well on your new journey.”
Zziwa becomes the latest journalist to depart NTV Uganda after Luganda News Anchor Frank Walusimbi quit NTV Uganda for a new juicy job at the United Nations Human Rights Commission as a communications officer.
