Kabale RDC involved in nasty accident along Ishaka-Kasese Road

The RDC was travelling with his bodyguard and house boy when his speeding double cabin pickup, Reg No UG 4143 C knocked a Fuso truck that was parked in the middle of the road in a corner on Wednesday afternoon.

KABALE, UGANDA: Kabale Resident District Commissioner (RDC) Mr Godfrey Nyakahuma is currently nursing injuries at Kyamuhunga Hospital after he was involved in a nasty road accident along the Ishaka-Kasese road, at Rutoto hill in Rubirizi district.

The RDC was travelling with his bodyguard and house boy when his speeding double cabin pickup, Reg No UG 4143 C knocked a Fuso truck that was parked in the middle of the road in a corner on Tuesday evening.

Mr Bron Kikashemeza, the Rubirizi RDC who rushed to the hospital after the accident, told this website that morning that Nyakahuma is currently responding to treatment, while his bodyguard and house boy were severely injured and are now under the Intensive Care Unit – ICU at the hospital.

Kikashemeza however explained that plans are underway to see the RDC transferred to Mbarara regional hospital for further management.
