The Canine Association of Uganda successfully organized the 3rd National Dog Show and All Breed Assessment, which brought together dog lovers, breeders, dealers in pet foods, treats, grooming services, and trainers. Over 40 exhibitors participated in the event, making it a great success.
One standout exhibitor was Kaya’s Kitchen, a Ugandan owned business that specializes in organic and chemical-free pet food and grooming products. Their unique product range included puppy treats, kitten treats, chicken jerky, fish jerky, goat jerky, and snicker doodles, all made from organic locally sourced ingredients.
Kaya’s Kitchen takes pride in its products, which are environmentally friendly and pose no threat to pets since they are free of additives, preservatives, and other chemicals commonly found in pet foods.
Their grooming products, such as the Flea N tick powder, Flea N tick spray, and dog shampoo, are made from natural pest repellents like the Neem tree, lemon grass, and citronella. The brand is now expanding into new markets, such as Kenya.
Flavia Namulindwa, a representative from Kaya’s Kitchen, expressed her delight in the success of the event and her company’s products.
Interested buyers can purchase their products at Crane Chambers, the former Crane Bank, on the third floor of Kampala Road, near Mapera House.
The organizers of the event were pleased with the turnout, as all age groups were well-represented and had a great time. They encouraged the public to look out for upcoming events, which will be announced soon
