KAMPALA, UGANDA: Guests Lubiri Mengo were Thursday left in suspense after the Queen of Buganda Nnaabagereka Sylvia Nagginda made no appearance at the celebrations of the Kabaka’s 68 birthday.

Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi was joined by a number of palace officials including Katikiirro Charles Mayiga as he cut the cake amid ululations from subjects and the Kingdom royalists at Bulange, Mengo in Kampala.

Unlike previously when the King would be in the company of his marital wife, Thursday was a no-show for the Nnaabagereka triggering unanswered questions.

However, unconfirmed reports told this website that the queen was on Saturday sighted at Entebbe Airport, as to whether she is out or in the country, this website couldn’t independently verify.

It should be noted that the Kabaka returned to the country two weeks ago. He had been away in Europe receiving treatment.

While he was away the Queen released a book- recollecting their love life, and her experience as queen and she also mentioned having twins in 2010 although Mengo later refuted the queen’s revelations saying the Kabaka has no twins with Nnabagereka.

During her book launch at Sheraton Hotel last month, there was no Palace official in attendance, let alone the Kattikiri Charles Peter Mayiga who would later justify his absence saying the launch coincided with official kingdom duties.

In her Birthday message on Thursday, Kabaka Mutebi asked his subjects to continue living harmoniously and together to further development within the Kingdom.

Kabaka thanked everyone, especially the Religious Leaders for praying for him. He also thanked God for letting him do great things for Buganda.
