“Yes, it’s true that Hudu has been transferred from Lwengo to Masaka City to fill the vacancy that was created following the suspension of our officer from duty,” Yunus Kakande, the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry for Presidency confirmed to this publication when asked of the appointment.

Hudu replaces the former RCC Ronald Katende who was interdicted from office two months ago by the Minister for Presidency, Milly Babirye Babalanda over failure to execute the presidential directive on land evictions.

Kakande added that Mr Ahmed Kateregga Musaazi who has been serving as Masaka RCC in acting capacity will now reoccupy his office as the deputy RCC for Kimaanya/Kabonera Municipality.

Prior to his transfer to Lwengo district, Hudu was RDC for Yumbe district for eight months, a position he took after his unpopular transfer from Kampala following his orders to chase preachers away from the city streets.
