Ankole parliamentary caucus petition Gen Muhoozi on regional visit

Team Chairman continues to launch and commission its structures countrywide for effective mobilization, effective representation and dynamic leadership with Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba our next president in 2026.

The Members of Parliament from the Ankole Region under their parliamentary caucus have asked the Senior Presidential Advisor on Special Operations, First son Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba to consider visiting the region in one of his countrywide tours.

Speaking at the launch of Team Chairman MK movement structures in Ankole, the MPs through their Chairperson for Ankole subregion parliamentary caucus Hon Basil Bataringaya expressed their gratitude to the Team Chairman under the able leadership of Chairman Toyota Michael Nuwagira Kaguta for mobilizing, uniting and involving the young people in promoting and participating in government programs while fronting Gen Muhoozi as the next president.

The MPs also thanked the Team for being very organized with a clear agenda, and an informed ideology. Ankole being the mother of NRM, appreciated Team Chairman’s ideology for fronting NRM principles of patriotism, Panafricanism, democracy and social-economic transformation.

“As a member of the youth committee of parliament, I see Team Chairman is exactly doing what the youth requests,” Hon Basil Bataringaya emphasized.

Hon. Prof Mushemeza Elijah of Sheema South encouraged commissioned Team Chairman mobilizers to stick to our mobilization.

“As a professor of political science, I tell you that we have been eating maize and now its time to eat posho,” Hon Mushemeza emphasized informing people that posho comes from maize and so the two have no difference.

In attendance at the ceremony were Hon Gerald Karuhanga, Hon Elijah Mushemeza, Hon Basil Bataringaya, Hon Rosette Kajungu, and former MP Vincent Kyamadidi, among others with a total of 11 MPs in number.

While concluding their submissions, the Hon members altogether petitioned Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba through Chairman Toyota Michael Kaguta to visit the Ankole subregion.

“Gen promised to come to Ankole but up to now, his promise is pending, he must come home for blessings,” the MPs emphasized.
