Otuke LCV Chairman crosses from UPC to NRM

A member of UPC who preferred not to be named by this publication said Abola is just hiding behind NRM because he knows that in 2026 he will not get any good votes in the Otuke district.

OTUKE, UGANDA: Panic has erupted in the opposition Uganda Peoples Congress party after Mr Abola Francis, the Otuke LCV Chairman crossed to NRM Party during a meeting that President Yoweri Museveni arranged for leaders composed of different categories for the Lango sub-region.

To confirm his fresh allegiance to the ruling party, Mr Abola in yet another function on Thursday surfaced in yellow attire [Yellow shirt and partly a yellow pair of trousers] for the commissioning of the Otuke Community facility two days after his declaration to join NRM.

He was welcomed by H.E Yoweri Museveni, the national chairman of NRM alongside other invited NRM chairpersons and historicals.

The source adds that the district chairperson knows the community will not vote for him again because he has failed to perform/deliver as was expected by the locals.
