KIRYANDONGO, UGANDA: Residents of Kitwara trading centre in Kiryandongo district Monday woke up to incredible shock after finding a lifeless body of a beheaded young man.
The yet-to-be-identified young man was found lying lifeless beneath a well-parked motorcycle on Monday morning.
Area residents say that the unidentified young man was seen in the area on Sunday night with two other area gentlemen taking booze in one of the local bars before riding off their motorcycle.
“We highly suspect that the deceased was slaughtered over the issue of having engaged in a love affair with a village girl because the area has very notorious youth over the same”, a resident who preferred anonymity told DailyExpress.
Kiryandongo Central Police Station detectives swung into action and arrested suspects whose identities are yet to be concealed.
Mr. Edison Muhangi the Kiryandongo district District Police commander confirmed the arrest of all suspects in the case stating that the issue will be followed up until justice is served.
The unidentified body was taken to Kiryandongo Hospital for a postmortem report awaiting relatives to appear.
