RDC Eseru kicks off PDM monitoring in Pakwach District

PAKWACH, UGANDA: Pakwach Resident District commissioner (RDC), Mr Paul Eseru has started monitoring all the PDM SACCOs and Wealth Creation Programs in the district.

The implementation of Minister Grace Kwecwiny’s directive kicked off on Monday, July 24, with Mr Eseru camping in Pakwinyo parish, Wadelai sub-county in Pakwach District to ensure that all government programs and projects are implemented as per government policy.

While addressing the media on Monday 24th July 2023, Eseru said the Parish Development Modal Sacco group of a piggery enterprise has so far set off well from the onset according to what he witnessed on the ground yesterday.

“I am warning that each enterprise group should use the money as per the business plan.
We are encouraging them to immediately report any challenges they are facing in the enterprise implementation” said Me Eseru.

According to him the entire district team effective next week will move to monitor the enterprise in each parish including the wealth creation programs in Pakwach as per the Minister’s directive.

Pakwinyo Parish SACCO has a total of 75 members who have subscribed to the PDM programme.
Atimango Doreen one of the beneficiaries of the Pakwinyo PDM Sacco lauded the RDC for paying a visit to them at the onset of the program.

The chairperson LC3 of Wadelai sub-county, Mr Oram David Coope commended the Government for improving the lives of the local population through the PDM program and urged the RDC office to continue monitoring the Sacco progress from time to time.

Monday’s meeting was also attended by the Community Development Officer (CDO) for Wadelai Sub-county and the parish chief of Pakwinyo parish among others.
