KAMWENGE, UGANDA: Kamwenge District Education Officer, Apollo Mulinde has perished in road crash after the car in which he was travelling was involved in a fatal accident on Wednesday evening.
According to the Kamwenge District Chairperson, Mr Joseph Kurungi, the late Mulinde was travelling in a Toyota Landcruiser together with his wife when the car got involved in a head-on collision with a Coca-Cola truck at Rwenjaza trading centre in Kitangwenda District around 9 pm last night.
Mr Mugarura Henry, the DPC Kitagwenda confirmed the demise of the Kamwenge DEO in the fatal road crash but referred this reporter to the Rwenzori Regional Police Spokesperson for more details on the incident.
By press time, the regional PRO was unreachable for a comment as his known numbers were not available at the moment.
