WATCH: Sudhir’s magnificent Paradise Resort nears completion with 98% work done

The construction of Ruparelia Group’s Paradise Island Resort on Lake Victoria is in the final stages of completion with structural works standing at 98 per cent. City Businessman Sudhir Ruparelia is the brain behind the magnificent development.

Located 20 minutes away by speed boat from Speke Resort Munyonyo in Kampala, Paradise Island Resort is bound to be a venue for honeymooning couples as well as retreat-seeking guests.

The project which started on May 1, 2021, is geared towards boosting both domestic and international tourism treating travellers with a bit of pampering and seclusion in paradise.

The construction started with 22 units and there were an additional 16 in the second phase.

The Paradise Island Reort project has been undertaken by Rajiv Ruparelia and Sheena Ruparelia, under the guidance of their father Dr Sudhir Ruparelia who is the chairman of Ruparelia Group.

Boasting of 10 Standard cottages, 11 standard cliff hunger cottages, 14 units of Deluxe cottages (2BHK) and 3 beautifully appointed Executive Villas, the Resort upon commissioning will enable guests to experience the wonder of Lake Victoria and the ambience of the island.

Paradise Island Resort sits on 19 acres of land and is surrounded by another rocky Island which is occupied by trees and a huge number of birds which makes it extremely beautiful for lovers of bird tourism.

According to Rajiv, there will also be a riding/jogging track, function grounds, a sailors’ bar and an arrival building with a mini museum as well as a marina restaurant offering unmatched sunset views.

“Paradise Island Resort will not only set the bar for exclusivity, with a mid-range to luxury lifestyle but will remain in harmony with nature,” Rajiv said, adding that all this combined with the loving care of the resort’s staff will make any guests holiday at Paradise Island not only intriguing but also relaxing and memorable.

He explains that a kids’ sand play area, fishing/sunset viewing deck, Zipline connecting two islands, Marina and basketball court will also be in place.

Paradise Resort is among the many projects undertaken by Ruparelia Group which include an extension of Kabira Country Club, Speke Resort Convention Center, Kingdom Hotel, and Ssese Beach Resort, among others.
