Kampala, (UG): The Police at Katwe Division in Kampala are actively investigating a case of malicious damage by renowned musician Patrick Mulwana, commonly known as Alien Skin over the attack on Motor Vehicle No. UBK 123C, owned by Mr. Andrew Mukasa, alias Bajjo.
According to Kampala Metropolitan Police deputy spokesperson, ASP Luke Owoyesigyire, the incident he described as distressing occurred yesterday, (Tuesday, November 07th 2023), at approximately 6:00 PM at Bajjo’s car washing facility in Kirudu zone, Luwafu Parish, Makindye Division, a Kampala suburb.
Incidentally, Owoyesigyire explains that a group of individuals allegedly led by Alien Skin reportedly attempted to assault Bajjo following a misunderstanding between the two, only for the latter to defend himself using pepper spray before escaping the impending attack.
“The assailants, led by an individual known as Mulwana Patrick, who goes by the alias “Alien Skin,” allegedly attempted to assault Mr Bajjo. Fortunately, Mr. Bajjo was able to defend himself using pepper spray. During their escape, his car was damaged in a collision,” Mr Owoyesigyire stated.
He added that moments after, a confrontation arose between the security guard at the washing bay identified as Mr. Okalebo Vincent from Caltec Security Company and Alien Skin’s group, which resulted in the guard discharging his firearm, causing damage to the vehicle.
This resulted into the arrest of the security guard and one other individual identified as Mr Ibra Kabadia to help police in the ongoing investigation relating to hee incident of malicious damage and the shooting.
“Regrettably, Alien Skin, the musician known as Mulwana Patrick, managed to evade capture during the police intervention. We are actively pursuing his arrest, as well as the apprehension of his associates, to hold them accountable for the damage they caused to the vehicles at the car washing facility,” ASP Owoyesigyire said, before urging Alien Skin and his associates to refrain from using violence and creating disturbances that disrupt the peace of others.
“We strongly urge Mulwana Patrick and his associates to refrain from using violence and creating disturbances that disrupt the peace of others. Further details on this matter are under investigation, and we will continue to provide updates as they become available,” he said.
