Jose Chameleone, Weasel, King Michael headline BungaBet’s ‘Endigito’ concert of the year

Prominent Mbarara City Businessman and CEO of Bunga Bet, Mr Prosper Tuhaise has lined up a host of popular Ugandan musicians and entertainers in what has been termed as a concert of the year to give western Uganda revellers a musical treat at its fullest.

Dubbed ‘Endigito Ya Bunga Bet’, the much-anticipated concert will be held on 18th November 2023 at Bagyenyi Gardens in Bwizibwera Town Council, Mbarara City.

Steven Kururagire, the Director of operations at Bunga Bet told DailyExpress that the Endigito concert of 2023 unlike other years has been termed the ‘mighty musical battle’, and will be levelled up by East Africa’s celebrated artist: Dr Jose Chameleone, alongside his brother Weasel Manizo, alias Douglas Mayanja.

And that’s not it all, Mr Kururagire says revellers won’t miss out on enjoying the night with No.1 stage controller Roden Y Kabako, celebrated musical legend King Michael, and many other Mbarara’s finest artists will fill up Bagyenyi Gardens.

Mr Kuraragire says they decided to charge a small fee for this concert to give back to their loyal clients who have supported Bunga Bet for all the years it has operated in Uganda.

Tickets for Endigito ya BungaBet are sold at Ugx10,000 for ordinary, Ugx20,000 for VIP and Ugx200,000 for the table.

Despite Endigito concert happening on the same weekend as Mc Kacheche’s concert, several revellers this publication reached out to joyfully confirmed that they can’t miss Chameleon’s super-class hits live in Bunga Bet’s concert, noting that this will be the first time for Chameleon to perform in Mbarara City.

”The fact is, Mbarara is already on fire and now counting days to throng to ‘Endigito Ya Bunga Bet’. Man, this is a one-time show, one in history because this is going to be the first time for Chameleon to perform in Mbarara ever since it was elevated to a city. I think organizers should plan for a larger venue because people will attend in thousands,” said an excited reveller on Mbaguta Street in Mbarara City.

Others noted that it would be a big loss for any person to organize any concert before Endigito Ya Bunga Bet is made. ”My friends in Kampala and other western districts are polishing their dancing shoes to come and party with Chameleon and Weasel and other musicians in ‘Endigito Ya Bunga Bet’. Am worried those who have concerts in Mbarara will register a smart loss because all the juicy basheshe and city slay queens will be at Bagyenyi Gardens on 18th,” noted a beautiful ‘musheshe’ who is operating mobile money in Mbarara city.

Artists are ready

Ugandan music legend, Jose Chameleone in a short video clip obtained by this site, said he is more than ready to put the entire city on the musical fire.

Additionally, Weasle, Kabako and King Michael, have rallied all their fans in the districts of; Ibanda, Kiruhura, Isingiro, Rwampara and Sheema to come at Bagyenyi gardens in large numbers and enjoy the fresh vibes that will give them memorable time as they look to end the turbulent 2023.
