Jinja readies to welcome ONC’s Namyalo in first-ever Royal Kasiki for the Kyabazinga wedding

Kampala, (UG): In what promises to be a unique blend of tradition and empowerment, the Bugembe Stadium in Jinja City is set to host the first-ever Busoga Royal Kasiki ceremony for the Kyabazinga (King) of Busoga ahead of his forthcoming royal wedding.

The Royal Kasiki, the first of its kind is happening this Friday, November 10th and has been organized by the Office of the NRM National Chairman (ONC), overseen by the Senior Presidential Advisor Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye.

Hajjat Namyalo spent most of her time on Thursday at ONC offices in Kyambogo as she personally inspected a diverse array of items acquired by the ONC, which will be distributed to the people of Busoga Kingdom during the kasiki.

A host of these items ranging from brick-laying machines to hair dryers, are part of President Yoweri Museveni’s broader efforts to empower Ugandans and boost household incomes.

“The assortment includes g-nut grinding machines, popcorn-making machines, mowing machines, fertilizers, paver-making machines, and more, which have been carefully chosen to support various economic activities, reflecting a comprehensive strategy to enhance the livelihoods of the Busoga Kingdom residents,” said Hajjat Namyalo as she called upon the people of Busoga to turn up in large numbers and benefit from the empowerment drive.

Ms Kazaire speaking to DailyExpress confirmed that the whole of Busoga Region and mostly Jinja City, celebrations have already gained momentum with subjects donating items, including food, drinks and equipment to be used during the Kasiki.

”On top of what we already have as the organizing team from ONC, Kyabazinga’s subjects are also flocking in with a lot of food, and drinks to support the Kasiki where my boss Hajjat Namyalo is also coming to empower them with start-up capital items. ” Ms Kazaire noted.

“The entire population is excited not just to celebrate with their King but they are also looking forward to Chief Muzzukulu’s empowerment package and a message from the President,” she added.
