Kampala, (UG): Uganda Premier League giants, KCCA Football Club have unveiled its new, formidable technical team as they take a decisive step forward for the club under the new head coach Abdallah Mubiru.
The club’s management has strategically assembled a diverse and experienced group of individuals to support Mubiru in steering the team towards success.
At the helm of the technical team will be the newly appointed Head Coach Abdallah Mubiru, a seasoned football tactician with a proven track record.
Mubiru’s wealth of experience and strategic insight are expected to bring a fresh perspective to the Cityzens’ approach on the field.
Mubiru’s assistants will be two key figures, Kefa Kisala and Jackson Magera Kaddu, who both are expected to contribute unique strengths to the coaching lineup.
Kisala, a former KCCA FC player from 1997 to 2000, brings a deep connection to the club’s history. His coaching journey, spanning Kitayosce FC, Fountain Gate in Tanzania, and various local teams, adds a rich layer of experience to the technical staff.
Meanwhile, Jackson Magera, who recently stepped into the role of interim head coach, has seamlessly transitioned into his new position. Magera’s familiarity with the team dynamics, gained during his interim stint, positions him as a valuable asset in the coaching setup.
The technical team doesn’t stop at coaching alone. Fitness Coach Felix Ayobo, Goalkeeping Coach Moses Oloya, Junior Team Head Coach Saka Mpiima, and the dedicated medical and support staff ensure a well-rounded support system for the players.
Ivan Ssewanyana takes on the crucial role of Team Doctor, overseeing the health and wellness of the squad.
Emmanuel Tusuubira, the Team Physiotherapist, will play a pivotal role in player recovery and injury prevention.
The responsibility of managing the team’s kits falls into the capable hands of Bashir Kawoya, with Betty Nantale assisting in ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
