Sheryl Botes announces Crested Cranes’ squad for Morocco friendly

Kampala, (UG): The newly appointed head coach of Uganda’s senior women football team, Sheryl Botes has revealed a formidable provisional squad of 31 players set to face Morocco in two friendly matches next month.

The Crested Cranes, under Botes’ leadership, will play on December 1st at Le Mardi Stadium in Casablanca and then again on December 5th at Stade Moulay El Hassan in Rabat.

This marks Coach Botes’ debut in charge of the team since her appointment on November 15th, adding anticipation to the upcoming clashes.

The squad, comprised of talented players from various clubs, will enter a residential camp at Cranes Paradise in Kisasi on Thursday to prepare for the challenging encounters.

The squad includes a mix of experienced players and promising talents, showcasing the depth of women’s football talent in Uganda. With players representing clubs both locally and internationally, the Crested Cranes aim to make a statement in these crucial friendly matches against Morocco, setting the stage for their future endeavours under Coach Sheryl Botes.
