Kayunga, (UG): In a vibrant display of support for youth empowerment and community development, the Office of the NRM National Chairman (ONC) Manager, Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye on Wednesday made an impactful visit to Kayunga District where she equipped thousands of youths with startup capital items to enable them to become self-reliant as the government moves to achieve the middle-income status of its citizens.

Hajjat Namyalo, who is also the Senior Presidential Advisor on Political Affairs at the Kyambogo-based office passionately urged the youth to embrace President Yoweri Museveni’s economic initiatives while championing the National Resistance Movement (NRM).

She was officiating at the commemoration of the belated Youth Day celebrations at Nakyessa Playgrounds in Kayonza Sub County, Bbaale constituency in Kayunga District.

During her visit, the Chief Muzzukulu (as she prefers to be addressed) not only delivered a stirring speech encouraging the youth to engage in economic programs but also backed her words with action. She generously donated a range of essential items aimed at bolstering income-generating activities within the community.

The donations included sewing machines, haircutting tools, hair dryers, popcorn-making machines, and bricklaying equipment, among other valuable resources.

In addition to the tangible support, Ms Namyalo also pledged to champion the community’s cause by directly engaging President Museveni. Foremost among the issues she vowed to present to the President is the pressing matter of the district’s roads, reflecting her commitment to addressing the residents’ immediate concerns.
