FIFA coaches’ workshop to elevate women’s football expertise in Uganda

Kampala, (UG): The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) is set to host a FIFA Coaches’ Workshop.

Scheduled to take place from Tuesday, November 28th, to Friday, December 1st, 2023, the workshop will unfold at the state-of-the-art FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru.

The primary objective of this workshop, meticulously organized by the FUFA Football Development Department, is to provide a comprehensive platform for coaches.

The workshop also aims to equip women with advanced knowledge and skills in football coaching and management, fostering an environment conducive to the growth and development of women’s football in Uganda.

With a keen focus on coaches steering Women’s Football teams in the top-flight league and the second-division league, known as the FUFA Women Elite League, this workshop is poised to be a pivotal moment for the progression of women’s football in the region.

As the footballing landscape continues to evolve, FUFA recognizes the significance of empowering coaches to navigate the intricacies of the game and foster a new era of excellence.
