Transfer Talk: Mbappe deadline, Richarlison lured by Middle East, and managerial duel in MLS in Thursday headlines

In the latest football transfer speculations, the Thursday gossip mill is buzzing with intriguing developments across Europe. 

Real Madrid is poised to present a tempting offer to 24-year-old French sensation Kylian Mbappe, urging a swift decision before the looming January 15th deadline.

Meanwhile, Brazil forward Richarlison finds himself on the radar of Saudi Pro League clubs, but Tottenham stands firm on their valuation after securing him for £60m from Everton.

Tottenham is also eyeing reinforcements, with discussions circulating about a potential move for Everton and England defender Ben Godfrey, 25, in the upcoming January transfer window. 

However, Juventus seems to be reconsidering their pursuit of Manchester United’s 23-year-old England forward, Jadon Sancho.

In a bid for more playing time, 21-year-old English forward Noni Madueke is reportedly seeking an exit from Chelsea. 

The managerial arena sees former Chelsea and Everton boss Frank Lampard locking horns with ex-Aston Villa manager Dean Smith in a competition to take charge of Major League Soccer side Charlotte FC.

Newcastle United’s 21-year-old defender Tino Livramento, who holds eligibility for Scotland and Portugal, has set his sights on proving his worth for England. 

Liverpool, not to be left behind, has made a notable approach for Benfica’s promising 18-year-old Dutch forward, Kyanno Lorenzo Silva.

West Ham faces decisions on the transfer front, with Spain midfielder Pablo Fornals, 27, made available for offers in January, despite a one-year contract extension. 

The Hammers also eye a significant investment, needing to cough up more than £40m if they intend to secure Inter Milan’s 29-year-old Turkey midfielder, Hakan Calhanoglu.
