UEFA Champions League: Arsenal face Porto as Man City get FC Copenhagen in RO16 draw

The UEFA Champions League round of 16 has been revealed with English teams Arsenal and Manchester City drawn against FC Porto and FC Copenhagen respectively. The draw took place on Monday, December 18, 2023, at UEFA Headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.

The Champions will look to fend off any scary defeat from the Danish giants who deemed the last nail in Manchester United’s progress to this round with a win in Copenhagen in the Group A fixtures.

On the other hand, Arteta will aim to drive Arsenal to the quarter-finals of the European competition for the first time in over a decade should he see off any resistance from Portuguese giants Porto.

In the other draws, fourteen-time champions, Real Madrid take on RB Leipzig while Barcelona will face Italian side Napoli, and the other Spanish counterparts; Atletico and Real Sociedad face Inter Milan and Paris Saint-Germain respectively.
