A rising star in the boxing scene, Zikama has never faced Noordin Kiseka in his weight division, adding an extra layer of anticipation to this epic encounter between the two contenders.

Zikama’s recent victory in the semi-finals against Komakech Michael showcased his prowess in the Super Heavyweight division, securing a unanimous decision in his favour.

Before entering the elite super heavyweight category, Zikama had an impressive journey, claiming bronze in the National Novice Boxing Championship, silver in the National Intermediate Boxing Championship, and another silver in the National Open Boxing Championship.

His boxing journey began in early 2022, dedicating eight months to rigorous training before participating in national tournaments.

Zikama’s resilience was evident as he secured a finalist position in the National Open Championship, earning him entry into the prestigious Uganda Boxing Champions League.

Despite facing challenges, such as a setback in his first game against former bronze medalist Geko Solomon, Zikama bounced back during the Olympic qualifiers in Senegal.

He secured a rematch with Geko Solomon and claimed victory unanimously, redeeming himself and elevating his boxing record.

As the anticipation builds for the Elite Super Heavyweight Finals, Zikama’s preparation and determination set the stage for an epic clash in the ring.

The upcoming battle promises to be a defining moment in Zikama’s burgeoning career as he aims to etch his name in the annals of Uganda’s boxing history.
