Uganda Premier League: Kitara FC thump Arua Hill 7-1 in dominant league victory

In a jaw-dropping display of football mastery, Kitara FC decimated Arua Hill SC with an emphatic 7-1 triumph on enemy territory.

The Leopards, facing the challenge with only eight players and no substitutions, proved their mettle under the interim leadership of Tonny Ssenabulya Kintu. 

The absence of manager Charles Livingstone Mbabazi and assistant Ahmad Borini did little to dampen Kitara’s spirit.

The goal parade commenced with George Senkaaba’s net-rippling strike in the 15th minute, signalling the beginning of Arua Hill’s woes.

Further goals from Senkaaba, Denis Omedi, Jude Ssemugabi, Kipper Luwalo, Frank Tumwesigye, and Living Kabon showcased Kitara FC’s attacking prowess, leaving Arua Hill trailing in their wake.

Arua Hill SC’s goalkeeper, Shukuru Hadji, emerged as the unexpected hero of the match, earning the Man of the Match title despite the team’s 7-1 defeat. 

In another contrasting set of fixtures on StarTimes Uganda Premier League Match-Day 13, KCCA FC secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory against UPDF FC, while Bul FC claimed a 1-0 win over Busoga FC with a decisive goal from Alex Kitata.
