KCCA FC orchestrated a stunning second-half turnaround to clinch a 3-2 victory over URA FC, turning the tide after trailing at halftime.

Norman Namanya’s early goal gave URA the lead, but the Kasasiro boys displayed resilience with goals from Herbert Achayi and an own goal, followed by Shaban Muhammad’s decisive strike.

The first half saw URA, putting them in the lead. However, the Kasasiro boys mounted a comeback with goals from Herbert Achayi and an own goal from URA skipper Vianey Ssekajugo despite restoring his side’s lead earlier on in the second half.

Shaban Muhammad sealed the victory with a stunner at the 71st minute to seal the three for Abdallah Mubiru’s side as they continue to rebuild following a poor start to the campaign.

The win extends KCCA’s winning streak to four games, catapulting them to 8th place in the league standings with 19 points.

Other results

In other notable outcomes, SC Villa dominated UPDF FC with a resounding 3-0 victory, featuring Paul Kakande’s brace from the penalty spot.

Mbarara City FC secured a hard-fought 2-1 win against Wakiso Giants, thanks to goals from Joseph Akandwanaho and Tom Ssemuwemba, while Henry Kitegenyi found the net for Wakiso Giants.

Bright Stars claimed a narrow 1-0 victory over Maroons FC, courtesy of Alou Kokas’s decisive goal, while Busoga United FC emerged triumphant with a 2-1 win over Kitara FC, adding to the day’s excitement in the Ugandan football league.

Uganda Premier League Table Standings

As the StarTimes Uganda Premier League heads into Match-Day 14, day two, Bul FC asserts its dominance at the top of the table with 32 points. Kitara FC closely follow in second with 26 points, while Sports Club Villa and Maroons FC, are both tied in third at 25 points.
