FUFA WSL: Kawempe Muslim in riot 5-0 victory over Wakiso Hill, Kampala Queens win at Lady Doves

Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC Saturday secured a dominant 5-0 triumph over Wakiso Hill WFC in a FUFA Women Super League clash.

Yudaya Nakayenze and Agnes Nabukenya emerged as the stars, each scoring a brace as Hadijah Nandago added the final goal to seal the resounding victory.

The match began with Nakayenze finding the back of the net in the 22nd minute, putting Kawempe Muslim in an early lead.

Just two minutes later, Nakayenze combined forces with Nabukenya, extending the lead to 2-0. As the teams entered the break, Kawempe Muslim had firmly established their dominance.

The second half witnessed a goal-scoring spree by Nakayenze and Nabukenya once again, with Nakayenze completing her brace in the 57th minute. Nabukenya showcased her goal-scoring prowess, securing a brace with another goal. 

Despite a double substitution for Kampala Muslim introducing Ester Nangendo and Rebecca Nakato, Kawempe Muslim maintained a comfortable 4-0 lead.

In the 81st minute, Allen Nassazzi entered the field, replacing Mary Kabaculezi. However, it was Haddijah Nangando who stole the spotlight in the 88th minute, scoring the fifth goal for Kawempe Muslim and solidifying their 5-0 victory.

Meanwhile, in another FUFA Women Super League fixture, Uganda Martyrs Lubaga WFC and UCU Lady Cardinals FC played to a 1-1 draw. Kevin Nakacwa scored for Uganda Martyrs, while Sandra Kisakye found the net for UCU Lady Cardinals.

In a separate encounter, Lady Doves FC suffered a 0-2 home defeat against Kampala Queens, with Catherine Nagadya and Sumaya Komuntale each contributing a goal to secure the victory for Kampala Queens.
