Kampala, (UG): Uganda’s Examination Body (UNEB) Thursday released the official results from the 2023 Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) results in an event officiated by the Education Minister Janet Kataha Museveni at the State House in Kampala.
While releasing the results, UNEB Executive Secretary, Mr Dan Odongo said the 2023 PLE results will be uploaded on the examination centre Portals and each school will be able to download their results as soon as possible.
Mr Odongo also said that candidates and parents can also access the results by SMS on their phones or via the internet.
How to check 2023 PLE results by SMS?
1. You can get your 2023 PLE PLE Results for any candidate in a few simple steps.
2. In your message box, type PLE <space> INDEX NUMBER and send it to 6600.
{For example PLE 654321/001 AND SEND TO 6600.}
You will receive an SMS at a cost of UGX 500 per candidate
The UNEB ED said District, Municipal and City Inspectors of Schools may collect hard copies of the results from UNEB offices at Ntinda from Monday, 29th January. 2024.
“No copies of results are available as of now. Parents, candidates and other interested parties may use the Short Messaging Service (SMS) on mobile networks, which will post the results of candidates on their mobile sets instantly,” Mr Odongo explained.
The 2023 PLE Results is the first set of exams to be released by UNEB, with UCE Results of 2023 Examinations awaiting to be released in the coming weeks.
