2023 PLE: Parental Care Primary School shines among top performers in Bushenyi

Bushenyi-Ishaka Municipality’s Parental Care Primary School Bushenyi has outshone its competitors, topping the list of top schools in the municipality and district, according to results from the 2023 Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE).

According to results released by the assessment body Uganda National Examinations Board (Uneb), Parental Care Primary School Bushenyi had 90 candidates registering for the 2023 PLE examinations.

Of these, 89 candidates passed in Division One (First Grade) while only one got a good second grade (Division Two) – an aggregate of 12. Irene Ainembabazi was the PLE 2023 best candidate at Parental Care Primary School Bushenyi, scoring aggregate five. Seven other candidates scored aggregate of five.

Up to 14 candidates at Parental Care Primary School Bushenyi managed aggregate six each; 18 scored aggregate seven; while 20 scooped aggregate eight score.

Additionally, a total of 14 candidates at Parental Care Primary School Bushenyi scored aggregate nine; 10 scooped aggregate 10 while three managed aggregate 11 as shown below.

Commenting on the pupils’ performance, Basiime Perez the Parental Care Primary School Bushenyi Headteacher revealed to this publication that their focus is on ensuring excellence, confidence, personal presentation, Life Skills and interpersonal communication to ensure personal competitiveness today and in the future.

Basiime highlighted the school’s commitment to maintaining a culture of excellence through hard work and collaboration among staff, emphasizing the positive trajectory for achieving even better results in the coming years.

Meanwhile, Mr Trevor Yebazamukama, the Parental Care Primary School Bushenyi Director, attributed the excellent performance to “hard work, the fear of God and cooperation among school stakeholders – mostly pupils, parents and teachers.”

Parental Care Nursery & Primary School is a Privately sponsored School in Bushenyi-Ishaka Municipality Western Uganda with both Nursery and Primary sections running from Baby class to Primary seven.

The Bushenyi-based school is known popularly for its academic prowess demonstrated by its highest number of first grades annually, maintaining the pace for the last couple of years.
