Bafana-Bafana stun Morocco in 2-0 win to secure spot in AFCON quarters

South Africa’s national football team, the Bafana Bafana Tuesday pulled off a major upset by defeating World Cup semifinalists Morocco 2-0, securing their place in the quarterfinals of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations tournament.

The match concluded with a final score of Morocco 0-2 South Africa, with Evidence Makgopa and Teboho Mokoena finding the back of the net for Bafana Bafana.

The upset sent shockwaves through the football world, marking one of the most significant moments of the tournament.
