Namyalo’s empowerment campaign beneficiaries thank Museveni for changing their lives through ONC

Kampala, (UG): Hajjat Hadijah Uzieye Namyalo, the head of the Office of the National Chairman (ONC) of NRM has started to realize the fruits of the empowerment program she started through her office to help curb unemployment and poverty eradication in Uganda.

Through the campaign which has become a popular mobilisation in the NRM party, the ONC office under Namyalo’s guidance has often given out startup equipment to youths, women groups and other unions to directly empower them in starting up small-scale businesses for self-development.

Among the equipment given out include sewing machines, hair dryers, shaving machines, goats, chicks, and cash for Capital, to mention but a few.

Although the program has been hit with propaganda in the past that the workaholic Namyalo gives beneficiaries equipment and later picks them back, this is not true after actual beneficiaries spoke for themselves in a meeting yesterday (Friday) at President Museveni’s office.

They [beneficiaries] testified how the good-hearted and charismatic lady Hajjat Hadijah Uzieye Namyalo and her boss JAJJA wa Bazukulu (President Museveni) have managed to reach the people who had lost hope and never thought of being given an opportunity.

Many beneficiaries, including those whom the presidential industrial hub had trained, pleaded with the president to accept and visit them on the ground because it’s real and the best project, which is better since it doesn’t have a Rade tape procedure.

The President through his office was pleased with these life testimonials and promised to support ONC activities because Hajjat Hadijah’s tenure has managed to make this office visible and also enabled Bazukulu to enjoy the fruits the freedom fighters fought hard to bring to them.

Through Hajjat Namyalo, Jajja Museveni pledged to avail everything to this office since people are testifying about its visibility to the ground and its impacts are felt.

This empowerment project, which involves direct delivery of equipment to people, has left many regime opportunists in shock, and they are fighting hard to frustrate it.
