HUMILITY IS A VIRTUE: Inside Col Lukiah Mulumba’s humble rise to ranks in the US Air Force

By Rev. Joseph Kamugisha, Fortworth, Texas, USA.

The lady whose pictures are shown above is Ugandan born and raised in a normal humble background, whose level of professional success bears an inspiring level of equal elevation from grass to glory.

She came to the US when she was pretty young. By God’s grace, she went to school and attained her second degree as a Registered Nurse (RN) before undertaking more specialized training in the nursing arena.

Prior to her interest and pursuit in the medical industry, she joined the US Air Force as a humble cadet. It was not too long before she was promoted to the rank of US Airforce Captain, a rank she proudly yet humbly held until she was promoted again to the rank of Major.

Meanwhile, she continued with her quest for academic excellence. In addition to her active duties as a professional US Air Force officer. She took on her PhD studies in the same nursing field.

However, that was not all. Today, she is not only a PhD holder in nursing, but not too long ago, she was, for the third time, given another promotion to the rank of Lt. Col. US Airforce, a title one would never know about her until she said so.
