UNEB to release 2023 UACE Results tomorrow

The 2022 UACE results will be the third and last set of the national exams to be released after PLE and UCE results that were released early in the month.

KAMPALA, UGANDA: The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) will tomorrow, Thursday, March 07, 2024, release the results from the 2023 Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) examinations.

As has always been the norm in the previously released results, UNEB said the 2023 UACE results will be officially released by Education Minister Janet Museveni at State House, Nakasero in Kampala at 11:00 am E.A.T.

In light of the same, DailyExpress understands that UNEB officials led by Executive Secretary Mr Dan Odongo and the chairperson, Prof. Celestino Obua today (Wednesday) held a briefing with Mrs Museveni and education ministry top officials about how the students performed ahead of the release of the results.

The 2023 UACE results will be the third and last set of the national exams to be released after PLE and UCE results that were released early in the month.

The first two sets of the end-of-cycle examinations; Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) and Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) results have already been released.

In the UACE performance, students who score more than two principal passes will automatically qualify to join universities and other tertiary institutions while those who fail to attain two principal passes will be required to repeat Senior Six or use their UCE results or join tertiary institutions for diploma and certificate programmes.

UACE students who will qualify to join higher education are expected to join universities and other tertiary institutions in May and August for the new academic year 2024/23.
