MBARARA: Tanga Odoi, ONC team rally voters to participate in NRM registration exercise

Mbarara, (UG):- The Office of the National Chairman (ONC) coordinators in Greater Mbarara sub-region together with the NRM Electoral Commission chairman, Dr Tanga Odoi have rallied the masses to actively participate in the ongoing NRM Registration Exercise so as to have their details updated in the party’s Yellow Book.

The ONC team led by the regional coordinator Mr Muhangi Zephline and the State House Private Secretary for Mobilization at ONC, Mr Kampororo Norman resolved this during the meeting with the NRM leaders in Mbarara City and District Registrars at a courtesy Press Conference convened by Dr. Tanga on Thursday, March 14, 2024.

Dr Tanga while addressing the party leaders warned that whoever doesn’t register won’t be able to vote, let alone contesting in the forthcoming NRM structures/primaries.

The NRM Electoral boss however thanked the ONC Greater Mbarara Sub-Region Coordinators for the wonderful job they’re doing on the ground.

Mr. Muhangi Zephline, ONC Coordinator strongly invited all the members from other political parties to willingly join the NRM and register in this exercise on account of what the NRM government has done for us.

He further emphasized that ONC shall do whatever possible to reach every village and every home in the region in lieu of soliciting President Museveni’s support.

The meeting was attended by Mbarara City ONC Coordinator Mr Aisha Bukenya, Ms Neema Diana, the ONC Institutions Coordinator, Hon Tumwine Wilson and Hon. Herbert Kamugisha, among others.

The press conference according to Mr Muhangi was aimed at imploring all Ugandans to participate in this registration exercise which is scheduled to close tomorrow, Sunday 17th March 2024.
