Kololo Dua on March 27th is one of the events a Muslim shouldn’t miss in Uganda

An Independent opinion

It is commendable for the Office of the NRM National Chairman (ONC), under the management of SPA/PA Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye, to organize an event that aims to unite Muslims from all corners of Uganda.

It is important for any community to come together and promote unity, regardless of political affiliations. The call for active participation from the Muslim community is a positive step towards fostering cohesion and solidarity. Furthermore, expressing gratitude towards President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for his role in passing legislation on Islamic banking and efforts in recovering Muslim properties is a meaningful gesture.

The introduction of Salam Bank, which adheres to Islamic principles and offers financial services without interest (riba), is a notable development that provides an alternative option for Muslims in accessing credit support. The promise of providing packages to aid fasting during the event exemplifies the spirit of support and care for the community.

Suffice to note, it is an opportunity for Muslims to engage with the president on poverty alleviation initiatives and contribute to ongoing discussions on economic empowerment. I encourage Muslims to actively participate in the event and make the most of this historic occasion.

I would like to extend my sincere appreciation and gratitude to Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye, the manager of the Office of the National Chairman, for organizing such a significant event.

The efforts put into bringing together the Muslim community for the upcoming Dua prayers and the launch of Salam Bank are truly commendable. It showcases a remarkable dedication to the well-being and progress of the Muslim community in Uganda.

I encourage Muslims from all walks of life to actively engage in this event of prayer and financial development. It is a unique opportunity to come together as a community, strengthen unity, and enhance our understanding of Islamic finance principles.

The launch of Salam Bank signifies a step forward in providing financial services that align with our religious beliefs, making it an essential platform for economic empowerment and growth.

Furthermore, I would like to urge not only Muslims but also the entire country to continue supporting President Yoweri Museveni for his continuous good leadership skills in Uganda. His efforts in passing legislation on Islamic banking and his commitment to recovering Muslim properties are clear demonstrations of his dedication to inclusivity and justice.

President Museveni’s leadership has paved the way for advancements that benefit all Ugandans, irrespective of their religious or political affiliations.

Let us seize this moment to express our gratitude and appreciation to President Museveni while also reaffirming our support for his endeavors in driving progress, unity, and prosperity in Uganda. May this event serve as a reminder of the power of collaboration, faith, and positive leadership in shaping a better future for all.
