Uganda Christian University (UCU) emerged victorious with a 1-0 win over Makerere University Business School (MUBS) in the Pepsi University Football League semi-final clash at Mukono.

The match’s hero, Isaac Ofoyrwoth, etched his name in the annals of UCU’s football history by scoring the decisive goal in the 33rd minute, securing a 2-1 aggregate victory for his team.

From the onset, the game showcased a battle of midfield supremacy, with both teams probing for opportunities but failing to convert.

However, Ofoyrwoth broke the deadlock with a clinical finish, sending the UCU faithful into raptures. Despite concerted efforts from MUBS to level the score, UCU held firm, maintaining their slender lead for the remainder of the match.
