The Uganda Premier League Saturday witnessed an electrifying with seven matches played across various stadiums.

The results on the matchday threw the title race wide open, with BUL FC emerging as the new leaders with 52 points, just two games shy of the season’s conclusion.

At Wankulukuku, URA FC edged out KCCA FC 1-0, while Kitara FC stunned Busoga United 3-2 in Masindi. Maroons FC and Bright Stars FC played out a goalless draw in Luzira.

BUL FC, meanwhile, secured a crucial 1-0 win over Gaddafi FC in Njeru, propelling them to the top spot.

NEC FC and Vipers SC played out a 0-0 draw in Lugogo, while Wakiso Giants FC comfortably defeated Mbarara City FC 2-0 in Wakiso.

UPDF FC on the other side suffered a 0-2 loss to SC Villa FC in Bombo.

As the day concluded, the top of the table saw a thrilling logjam, with BUL FC leading the pack with 52 points.

Kitara FC and SC Villa FC are hot on their heels with 51 points each, while Vipers SC trails closely with 50 points. KCCA FC and NEC FC find themselves in a precarious position, tied at 45 points each.

With only two games remaining, the Uganda Premier League title race has reached a fever pitch.

Fans are eagerly anticipating the final matches, which promise to be nail-biting encounters. Will BUL FC hold on to their lead, or will one of the chasing pack snatch the title?

The suspense is palpable as the league hurtles towards its thrilling conclusion.
