Kampala, (UG):- Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC Sunday emerged victorious, defeating reigning champions Kampala Queens 2-0 to secure their fifth top-flight title in history.
The triumphant team finished the season with 40 points, a comfortable four points ahead of their closest rivals, Kampala Queens.
The decisive match saw Agnes Nabukenya and Allen Nassazi score the crucial goals, cementing Kawempe Muslim’s dominance in the league.
The team’s headmistress, Hajjat Zulaika Kibirige, was overjoyed as she witnessed her team’s remarkable achievement.

Agnes Nabukenya was awarded the Most Valuable Player title, having also shared the top scorer award with Sharon Namatovu of Makerere University WFC, with an impressive 10 goals each.
Additionally, Kawempe Muslim’s Juliet Adeke received the 2023/24 FUFA Women Super League Golden Glove award, boasting an impressive 13 clean sheets throughout the season.
This historic win marks Kawempe Muslim’s first title since the league was renamed the FUFA Women Super League, solidifying their position as a force to be reckoned with in women’s football in Uganda.
