Man suspended from boda-boda community for sleeping with colleague’s wife

Pader, (UG):- The community in Pader Town Council Monday woke up to shocking news after the local Boda Boda Association suspended its member who was recently caught in a steamy affair with the wife of a fellow group member!

The culprit identified as Okot Geoffrey Amuti who is also a boda boda rider now faces a three-month suspension from the association as authorities look into the case.

“This is a clear violation of our code of conduct and a betrayal of the trust that exists among our members,” said Mr Oyoo Ben Mark, the disciplinary chairman of Pader Town Council Boda Boda Association.

“We cannot tolerate such behaviour and we will take all necessary steps to protect the integrity of our association,” he adds.

The association’s disciplinary committee conducted a thorough investigation and found Amuti guilty of violating Article 14, Section 17 of the association’s by-laws, which strictly prohibits members from engaging in romantic relationships with the spouses of fellow members or connecting them with others.

Mr Ojara James Akena, the Association Secretary described the incident as a sad and unfortunate situation and urged members to maintain integrity for a cordial working relationship.

“We urge all members to respect the decision and maintain the integrity of our association. We will do everything possible to support the affected member and his family during this difficult time.”

This salacious scandal has sent shockwaves through the boda boda community, with many members expressing outrage and disbelief at Amuti’s brazen betrayal of his colleague’s trust!

“How could he do this to a fellow member?” asked a shocked colleague, who wished to remain anonymous. “We trusted him and considered him a friend. This is a huge betrayal and we demand justice!”
