Vipers SC bolster defence with Derrick Ndahiro signing

Vipers Sports Club has made a significant move in the ongoing transfer window by signing left-back Derrick Ndahiro on a two-year contract.

The 24-year-old Ugandan international joins the six-time Uganda Premier League champions from Police FC in Rwanda, where he had an impressive stint last season.

Ndahiro brings a wealth of experience to Vipers SC, having previously played for URA FC and SC Villa in Uganda, accumulating over 80 appearances in the Premier League.

He has also featured six times for the Uganda National Senior team, showcasing his ability to compete at the highest level.

The signing of Ndahiro is a strategic move by Vipers SC to strengthen their squad after a trophyless previous season. The club finished third in the league and were eliminated in the quarterfinals of the Stanbic Uganda Cup, prompting the need for reinforcements.

The acquisition of Ndahiro comes on the heels of the appointment of Serbian tactician Nikola Kavazovic as the new head coach of Vipers Sports Club. Coach Kavazovic will be eager to work with Ndahiro and the rest of the squad to build a formidable team that can compete for honours.

With Ndahiro’s signing, Vipers Sports Club has made a significant statement of intent in the ongoing transfer window, signaling their determination to reclaim their position as one of the top teams in Ugandan football.
