Ssempala Emmanuel officially assumes office as new Hoima CAO

Hoima, (UG):- Tuesday, July 09, marked a significant transition at the Hoima District headquarters in Kasingo, as Hon. Mugisha Uthuman Mubarak Kadiri Jr, the District LC5 Chairman officially welcomed Ssempala Emmanuel as the new Chief Administrative Officer (CAO).

Ssempala, who started his duties on July 2, 2024, was warmly received by his immediate supervisor, the Chairperson LCV Hoima, and the Resident District Commissioner (RDC).

During the ceremony, Mr Mugisha expressed his profound gratitude to the outgoing CAO, Komakech Charles Oluba, for his exceptional service and dedication to the district.

“Komakech Charles Oluba has done commendable work for our district. His efforts have significantly contributed to the development and progress we see today,” Chairman Mugisha stated.

Welcoming Ssempala, the LC5 Boss assured the new CAO of his unwavering support and cooperation.

He emphasized the importance of teamwork and transparency among district leaders to achieve collective goals. “We are pleased to welcome Ssempala Emmanuel as our new CAO.

Mr Mugisha also addressed a critical issue facing the district: the lack of openness among leaders. He urged all leaders to be transparent and communicative with one another.

“The only problem we have in Hoima District is leaders not being open to each other. If you see that the chairman has made a mistake, approach him and say, ‘No, chairman, what you have done is wrong,’ for the good of the district,” he advised.

In his concluding remarks, Mr Mugisha reaffirmed the commitment of the District Executive Committee to work closely with the new CAO.

He also called upon all politicians and leaders to collaborate with the district’s technical team for the betterment of the District.
