Kampala, (UG):- The National Unity Platform (NUP) President, Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine has sustained injuries after he was Tuesday evening shot at by police and security operatives in Wakiso.
According to a short video clip posted by NUP via its official X handle, Bobi was shot in the leg and seriously injured in Bulindo, Wakiso District.
The party indicated that Kyagulanyi is currently admitted at Nsambya Hospital where he was rushed shortly after the shooting for urgent medical attention.

The opposition party did not reveal the circumstances under which their Principal was shot at neither had police issued a statement on the incident by press time.
